A very cold into-bed experiencing last night. The first rising of the night, at 00.30, found the animal shaking with the cold. Close to Sherborne cold, even, but with an electric heater on hand.

A lie-in: rising at 06.00. The morning exercise is one hour later today, to allow for members of the larger community to travel here.

15.34  Back from visiting Tony, Victor, Tom, Sandra & The Team at a GC weekend, some 70 minutes away at the Roundhouse I…

A meeting was called & Robert asked questions that required formal responses. One comment made: current progress & development in Guitar Craft is limited by the astonishing fact that very few Crafties are able to function in C major. This is, actually, an appalling fact, It is currently limiting the developmental opportunities available to GC.

Following this, a quorum of the Special Study Group was convened & followed by other touching-base meetings.

At lunch, a new Hell Boys’ song was presented, a terrifying experience. Even more frightening than this, it is only one part of the second Hell Boys; CD, in current developmental stage.

17.02  Teatime with Vivien, who was prevailed upon to tell stories of her months around Mr. Gurdjieff, in Paris during the last year of his life: her first meeting, at a movements class; road trips around France; meals in the flat at Rue des Colonels; the funeral. There are very few today who were there in person & can tell these stories, and a clear privilege for us to be able to hear them from a direct source.

Soon, personal meetings.

22.31  A thought-provoking presentation on the Sufi use of humour by Hugh Elliot.
